The potential for 10,000 unique individual digital creatures to engage in all manner of blockchain applications is truly limitless.
When we created the first generation of 10,000 Gnogons, we embedded into each one a randomly assigned Power, Attack, Defense, Speed, Intelligence, and Heart score. We baked each stat along with its aesthetic attributes onto the Elrond Blockchain, where it will live on forever.
How many years will these Gnogons travel in time? How many years is that in NFT years?
The future of Gnogons will be built in part using grants awarded to a community of builders. If there is a single spirit felt throughout the Elrond ecosystem, it is the indomitable spirit of the builder. Gnogen will lead the charge as well, building our own applications for Gnogons in racing, battling, stories, and more.
We are building a Web 3 company together. A community of brands, developers, artists, collectors, competitors, and regular people looking for the next big thing in cryptocurrency.
The launch of our first official Gnogons Beauty Contest marks the first time the Gnogons community will come together for an event or occasion. But it won’t be the last.
Without further delay, let’s announce the structure of the beauty contest:
- Round 1 will be hosted on our Twitter thread. Linked here
- Post a photo of the Gnogon you wish to submit with the hashtags #TOPGON #GNOGONS
- Provide a brief description of your Gnogon to judges scrolling through. Whatever you can fit in 1 tweet is all that will be read, so make your words count!
- You may only submit 1 Gnogon per tweet. You may enter up to 10 Gnogons max.
- After you comment on Twitter, fill out the google form found here
- Round 1 will remain open for submissions until July 7th at 18:00 UTC (11am PST).
- Round 2 will begin shortly after. The top 15 Gnogons will pass through to Round 2, where we will ask the owners to submit a 300 word max short story regarding the lore behind their Gnogon.
- Round 3 will take place via community voting, where we will use the IQ metadata to weight votes.
Also a few rules to please keep in mind during the contest:
- You must be a verified Gnogen holder on our Discord to be valid for entry
- Must be following @Gnogen on Twitter
- Any Gnogon participating in TopGon must be held in your wallet and not listed on a marketplace for the duration of the contest.
- No use of derogatory, insensitive, or defamatory words, or use of sexually explicit or graphic words &/or images.
- Copyright, trademarked, or any legally protected written words, or images, may not be used or copied in this contest.
- All submissions must be submitted by announced deadlines or will automatically be disqualified.
- Any entrant who attempts to cheat, circumvent rules, coerce or influence others to gain advantage will be blacklisted from future Gnogen mints for 6 six months and banned from Gnogen Discord.
- Gnogen will have discretion to make any fair and equitable changes to rule enforcement if unforeseen circumstances should arrive.
The top 3 winners will be announced on a live Discord broadcast of the winners and notable runner-ups on July 10th at 20:00 UTC (1pm PST). We will be giving out prizes, $GNG, and talk a little more about some of the Gnogon contestants.
